I have strived to be an elite Master Sculptor and Master Painter
of Capodimonte, studying with several of the best artists from
Italy and other European artists. I am now able to attain the
quality that you see today.
At a young age I began painting
and doing many different forms of art work, at the age of 17, I
was inspired by the art form of Capodimonte. I have spent many
hours watching the European artist work and with their guidance
and expertise eventually learned the skills needed to create and
master the centuries old art of sculpting porcelain flowers that
looked as real as possible.
Starting my own business in 1997, my techniques have
developed to produce a standard of excellence that you see
today.
I use porcelain that is one of the best porcelains made, pure
white, and translucent when thin. Since the flowers are sculpted
petal by petal and painted by hand, each is unique and one of a
kind.
I have also been painting glass since 1997. The paints are
metallic oxide powders mixed as needed with oils. The paints are
then kiln fired onto the glass to insure the lasting beauty of
the paint. We ask that each piece of glassware be hand washed.
I have strived to produce a product that is of the finest
quality of artisan craftmanship and detailing that can be
cherished and enjoyed for years to come.
